[Viaje del Albatross] [1911]

This manuscript is a scientific journal recording the observations of a group of scientists and individuals during a two month expedition in 1911 to Baja California and the Gulf of California on a steam ship called the "Albatross". It was an expedition to collect zoological and botanical specimens for a museum, zoo and botanical garden and also to explore and study fish populations for commercial fishing. The group collected a large quantity of speciemens. The observations and resulting studies were published in various scientific publications.
